Guests will experience the vision behind this state-of-the-art learning environment, explore how industry partnerships are preparing students for high-demand careers, and learn how a naming investment can leave a lasting legacy for generations of students.

This invitation-only event offers the first opportunity to tour the facility and explore available naming opportunities before they are introduced more broadly. From classrooms and collaborative spaces to signature gathering areas, these investments provide organizations with a highly visible way to demonstrate their commitment to education, workforce development, and the future of our region.

All naming opportunities are for a period of 10 years and start at $20,000 per year.

All Maritime|253 naming rights investments are administered through the Tacoma Education Dream Fund, the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner of Tacoma Public Schools, and may be funded through philanthropic, marketing, or combined investments.

The Maritime|253 Skills Center represents a powerful example of what is possible when education, industry, and community work together to expand access to meaningful learning and career pathways.

Maritime|253 is a regional and technical education skills center where Pierce County students take advanced, industry focused courses alongside their required high school classes, preparing them for the real-world demands of the maritime industry. Maritime Career Pathways include: Sustainability, Technology, Port Operations and Logistics, and Advanced Maritime Manufacturing.

Investment Impact

While Maritime|253 serves as the backdrop for this event and opportunity, every naming investment and contribution made through the breakfast supports the Tacoma Education Dream Fund’s programmatic support of all Tacoma Public Schools students. This flexible funding enables TEDF to invest across five core impact areas, including student enrichment and belonging, college and career exploration, innovative learning and leadership opportunities, global and cultural engagement, and the celebration of student, staff, and community achievement. By supporting the foundation’s unrestricted programming, naming partners help ensure resources can be deployed where they are most needed, responding to emerging opportunities and advancing equitable access to transformative experiences districtwide.
